Arts Day at Sommervale School
In 2000 I was asked to provide a mosaic workshop as part of the Art Day at a local school. These are the mosaic and tile pieces that the group produced. The children painted the background tiles and the detailed motifs and made this in two days. It was later installed as part of a memorial garden.
North African skyline mural
I was commissioned to add a North African feel to this slightly cramped basement patio. It was transformed with a landscape painted as if seen from a balcony so as to take the attention away into the distance and provide a feeling of space. The cupboards on the other side were painted with another view framed by Moorish arches.
